In addition, Allied Florists of Houston provided floral decorations to enhance the City of Houston's commemoration ceremony on September 11th. An 8' floral wreath was showcased at the reflection pool in front of City Hall, blooming plants surrounded the stage, and over 3,000 white carnations were handed out in honor of those lost in last year's attack. Following Mayor Brown's speech, and in conjunction with cities all over the United States, the carnations were placed in the reflection pool.

Later that day, floral decorations and plants enhanced a special reception, 9/11 exhibit, and tribute concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Allied Florists of Houston encouraged everyone to participate in commemorating this special day in our country's history.
